This custom tapered thru axle insert is an additional accessory for the Tacx T2835 adapter. Garmin notes it may be needed when the axle bolt is too long, including on some Specialized Tarmac, Specialized Roubaix and Giant TCR Advanced Disc bicycles.
Check your bicycle and T2835 adapter fit before ordering. Confirmed use is limited to the applications described by Garmin.
